KC Urban Farms & Gardens Tour, Sunday, June 28, 10am-5pm
This is a self-directed tour, where your ticket gains you entrance to any of the 30 sites on the tour you’d like to visit. You can see maps for each of the sites at http://urbanfarmstourkc.com/?page_id=538 or you can email us at info AT kccua.org and we’ll mail you the tour brochure. (Brochures are also available all over town- look at local stores and contact any of the sites on the tour.) You can visit as many sites as you can squeeze into the day, or just visit a few.
You could focus on a cluster of sites in a particular geographic area, you could visit the sites that work with youth, you could visit the urban farms, or pretty much any combination that suits your interests. It is a day for you to enjoy all the good growing that is happening in Kansas City!
Tickets
$5.00 per person
$12 for a family (two adults and child/ren, one adult and children, etc)
$3.00 a person for a group of 10 or more

From any of the farms and gardens on the tour
- Online ticket sales have ended because of closeness of the date. They can be purchased through Friday at Green Acres Market (Briarcliff Shops), Whole Foods (87th & Metcalf area), Its a Beautiful Day (39th & Broadway area), & Prosperos Book Store (39th & Gennessee).
You’ll need your ticket throughout the tour to visit the different sites, so hold onto it!
RAIN OR SHINE
Parking: to help deal with parking challenges at some sites and to save energy, carpool with friends and family if you can. Please be respectful of the farms’ and gardens’ neighbors!
Food, Water, Bathrooms: Most of the sites will have water and beverages available. Some sites have bathrooms. Some sites will have food samples available.
