Radio Coverage on the Day of the Tour!
The tour will be covered by two Kansas City radio stations, so as you are driving from one site to the next, you can tune in and find out what is happening at sites all over the city!
KKFI 90.1 Kansas City Community Radio is doing live coverage of the Farms & Gardens Tour on Sunday, June 28, from 1:00-2:00pm. The show, hosted by John Kurmann, will feature interviews with farmers and gardeners.
KGGN 890am Gospel Radio will interview Angela Greene, Salt of the Earth Youth Market Garden at the Juniper Gardens Training Farm. Host Kevin Taylor of “Keeping it Real” will air from 10:30-11am on the radio and on the web. Be sure to listen in- Angela is a Greene visionary and farmer and activist and has alot of great things to say and stories to tell!
